One shared workspace for every studio day
Equipment, crew schedules and camera, lighting and sound planning in one place, so newsrooms and live shows know what is happening before the red light comes on.
What newzara helps studios manage
Less chasing, more time for the programme
Studio days go wrong in small ways: a lens booked twice, a lighting change nobody heard about. newzara keeps those details in one workspace so the people responsible can see them early.
One source of truth
Equipment, crew and show plans live together, so producers and engineers stop working from different spreadsheets and old messages.
Clear calls and schedules
Crew calls, rehearsal slots and rig changes are listed in order, so each person knows when they are needed.
Maintenance on record
Each piece of kit carries its booking and service history, which helps managers decide what is safe to send out.

Gallery and floor aligned
Directors, camera operators, lighting and audio teams read the same plan before the show starts.
Built for daily bulletins
Rundowns that change through the day are easy to update, and the latest version is the one everyone sees.
Reliable by routine
Repeatable checklists for each show type make a normal day predictable and an unusual day easier to handle.
From first conversation to a working studio routine
Every studio runs differently, so we start by learning how yours operates today. newzara is then set up around your equipment, your crew patterns and your show formats. Nothing is rebuilt for its own sake: we keep what already works and tidy what does not.
Listen to the studio day
We talk with studio managers, producers and technical leads about how a typical day and a typical live show currently run, and where information tends to get lost between people.

Questions studios ask us
Who is newzara designed for?
It is designed for studio managers, producers and technical crew at television newsrooms and live entertainment productions. Teams that share cameras, lighting and sound equipment between several shows tend to benefit most, because the coordination work is already heavy.
Do we need to replace the tools we already use?
Not necessarily. Many teams keep their existing rundown or editing systems and use newzara for equipment, schedules and planning alongside them. During the first conversation we look at what you rely on and suggest what is worth moving across.
Can it handle changes during a live day?
Yes. Rundowns, crew calls and equipment bookings can be updated as the day develops, and the current version is what everyone sees. That matters for daily bulletins, where running orders shift and technical needs change with them.
How is equipment tracked?
Each camera, lens, monitor, cable run or audio unit is listed with its location, booking history and maintenance notes. Managers can see what is free, what is out and what is due for a check before a show is planned around it.
Does it cover camera, lighting and sound planning?
It does. Camera movement, lighting plots and rig changes, and microphone, mixing and talkback setups each have their own planning space, linked to the show they belong to so every department reads the same schedule.
Who will we work with at newzara?
You will work with Priya Nair on rundowns and crew workflows, Tom Bradshaw on camera, lighting and sound planning, and Daniel Okafor on the scheduling and equipment tools. Hannah Whitfield oversees client relationships.
How do we find out what it costs?
Prices are set out on the Prices page, with what each service includes and what can change the figure. You then send an enquiry through the contact page and receive a written quotation before anything is agreed.
Where is newzara based?
We are at 14 Kings Road Business Court, Reading, RG1 3AR, and have supported studios since 2014. You can reach us on 0118 496 2031 or at hello@newzara.net, or use the contact form.
